Are your prices per person or per ride?
Prices are per ride, not per passenger. One standard base fare covers up to 4 passengers.
Do you use surge pricing?
No. Budget Transportation does not use demand-based surge pricing. Published base fares remain separate from clearly disclosed fees and add-ons.
Do you offer both airport pickup and airport drop-off?
Yes. We provide rides to San Diego International Airport and rides from SAN to your home, hotel, or destination.
How will I receive my reservation confirmation?
Reservation confirmations are sent by email.
Will the driver help with my luggage?
Yes. Your driver assists with loading and unloading luggage. There is also no waiting-time charge while you collect your luggage after arriving at the airport.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
There is no waiting-time fee for flight delays. The normal waiting-time charge is $45 per hour when applicable to other types of waiting.
What additional fees may apply?
- 20% gratuity added to every reservation.
- $25 VAN/SUV upgrade.
- $45 per hour waiting time when applicable.
- $15 per child booster or seat.
- $20 surcharge for pickups between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM.
- $20 baggage claim meet-and-greet / airport greeter service.
- Tolls and parking are additional.
- Additional stops and other special expenses may be extra.
- Credit card payments include a 5% fee.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, Venmo, Zelle, and credit cards are accepted. Credit card payments include a 5% fee.
Do you provide transportation to Mexico?
Trips to Tijuana Airport, Ensenada, and Rosarito may be available. Please call the office directly for availability and pricing. 772-812-3750
How far in advance should I book?
Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
